Suzan Abeja, the representative for Otuke District in Parliament, is making a strong appeal to the government. She wants them to give farmers in Otuke two key things: affordable ways to water their crops, called irrigation systems, and special coffee seedlings that can survive dry weather.
MP Abeja believes this support is vital. With reliable water and tough coffee plants, Otuke’s farmers can grow much more coffee. This isn’t just about bigger harvests; it’s about helping families earn a better living, become financially stable, and build a stronger local economy. She stresses that these simple, yet powerful, tools will unlock Otuke’s full potential in coffee production, bringing real prosperity and hope to the people of the district.
