Prominent Ugandan leader Sam Engola has warmly praised the recent 52nd birthday celebrations for General Muhoozi Kainerugaba. Engola described the event as a shining example of dedication, good conduct, and togetherness for the entire nation.
He specifically highlighted the birthday run held in Kampala, noting how it brought Ugandans, especially young people, together in a spirit of national pride. Engola believes General Muhoozi is a strong inspiration for the next generation, showing unwavering commitment to Uganda’s growth and peace. Such events, he added, do more than just encourage physical activity; they build stronger community bonds and a common vision for the country.
Engola also took the opportunity to commend President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for his vital role in establishing Uganda’s lasting peace and economic development. He suggested that these celebrations represent a smooth continuation of leadership, combining President Museveni’s extensive experience with General Muhoozi’s fresh energy to move Uganda forward.
The charitable event, named “Run for Hope” and organized by the Patriotic League of Uganda, drew thousands to the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds. With the inspiring theme “Run for Charity, Run for Hope,” its main goal was to gather funds for children in need, including orphans. Participants, easily identifiable in the league’s distinct colors, completed a 10-kilometer race through various city areas. The Deputy Speaker, Thomas Tayebwa, officially started the run and represented General Muhoozi during the cake-cutting. This noble cause received significant support, including a generous contribution from prominent businessman Sudhir Ruparelia, helping to make a real difference for vulnerable children.
