The Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) recently completed a successful recruitment drive in Oyam District, welcoming 104 new young individuals into its ranks. This latest group includes 90 boys and 14 girls, all ready to serve their nation.
While the recruitment aimed to find dedicated and suitable candidates, the process also highlighted the UPDF’s commitment to fairness and discipline. During the exercise, five individuals were arrested. These arrests were made due to impersonation and misconduct, ensuring that only genuine and deserving applicants are considered for service.
