His primary goal is to see Pallisa General Hospital elevated to the status of a Regional Referral Hospital for Bukedi North. This upgrade would provide essential medical services to a wide area, including the districts of Budaka, Kibuku, and Butebo, effectively bringing high-quality care closer to thousands of families who currently struggle with long travel distances.
Local leaders and residents have also voiced their strong support for the MP. John Michael Okurut, the Resident City Commissioner of Soroti, urged the community to reject the kind of violent and divisive politics that has caused physical harm to candidates in the past. He emphasized the need for mature leadership that focuses on realistic growth, such as securing municipality status for Pallisa to unlock more opportunities for the town.
