As Uganda prepares to celebrate its Independence Day, Onyum Denis, the aspiring Member of Parliament for Kyoga County under the National Unity Platform (NUP), has called on residents to prioritize their freedom and rights. In an interview, Denis emphasized the importance of protecting individual liberties and respecting the rights of others.
Denis also urged the youth to work hard and draw inspiration from the life and legacy of former President Apollo Milton Obote, a stalwart of Uganda’s independence struggle. He encouraged young people to emulate Obote’s dedication to the nation and his people. Denis emphasized that as Kyoga County’s representative, he would work tirelessly to ensure the rights and freedoms of all citizens are protected and promoted.
Denis’s message comes as Ugandans mark 63 years of independence, reflecting on their progress and the challenges ahead. With his leadership, Denis aims to bring positive change to Kyoga County, prioritizing the welfare and development of its people.
