MultiChoice Uganda Introduces Weekly ‘Ka Weekie’ Subscription Packages for DStv and GOtv
In a move to enhance flexibility and affordability for its customers, MultiChoice Uganda has unveiled a new range of 7-day subscription packages for both DStv and GOtv services. Dubbed ‘Ka Weekie’, this initiative aims to cater to the diverse viewing needs of Ugandans by offering short-term access to premium content without the commitment of a full month’s subscription.
The ‘Ka Weekie’ packages are designed to accommodate various budgets, with prices starting as low as UGX 5,000. This approach acknowledges that not all customers operate on a monthly income cycle, providing them with the flexibility to enjoy their favorite shows, sports, and movies at a fraction of the cost and for a duration that suits their schedules and financial plans.
Rinaldi Jamugisa, the Public Relations and Communications Manager at MultiChoice Uganda, emphasized the company’s commitment to meeting customer needs. He stated that the introduction of ‘Ka Weekie’ reflects MultiChoice’s dedication to delivering value and ensuring that entertainment remains accessible to all segments of the Ugandan population.
Customers can access the ‘Ka Weekie’ packages through various platforms, including the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps, USSD code *206#, Airtel Money, MTN MoMo, partner banks, and selected agents nationwide. Additionally, subscribers on the 7-day plan have the option to switch back to monthly, quarterly, or annual subscriptions by making a full payment or having sufficient credit in their account, with the cost of their active weekly subscription being factored into the change.
This initiative underscores MultiChoice Uganda’s responsiveness to customer feedback and its ongoing efforts to provide flexible and affordable entertainment options in the dynamic Ugandan market.
