The UPC Party Flag bearer for Lira City Woman MP seat 2026-2031 Hon Betty Amongi Akena has urgent Christian women to create wealth and remain in church if they are to live a happy and fulfilling lives. Minister Amongi was addressing Mothers’ Union of Lira Urban West arch- deconary during their monthly Women’s retreat at Ongica B Church of Uganda Anai- Lira City West Division.
She also proceeded to St Thomas Church of Uganda Adekokwok Parish for the shame Mother’s Union retreat where she was given unwavering support.
“I did not come here on my own but through invitation by one of your leaders here who is Norah to come and join you for this Prayers and talk to you my fellow Mothers.
The Minister in her usual philanthropic gesture also supported the incomplete Church by buying 3 doors and Windows pledging more financial support to the house of the Lord.
She emphatically appealed to Mothers to keep themselves doing something that can earn them Money since today’s women are the pillars of their respective homes.
